The miracle teacher!

Have you ever heard about someone who has real difficulties at the same time succeeded in helping others with many problems? Last year I saw an Indian film Hichki which had a big message that “your disability shouldn’t be an obstacle in your life.”

The film is based on the true story of Nina a woman with Tourette syndrome. She became a teacher, but she faced a lot of problems, one of them was her father who didn’t encourage her to work in teaching, and the other one was her class, which was full of students with problems who don’t want to learn or to be at school. Despite this she didn’t give up, she tried her best and worked hard with them, and she changed them to the best. Also made them succeed in final projects and exams, and really it was a real miracle that affects my life!

The teacher’s perseverance to try to find the best ways to deal with the students and make them successful at school despite her disability has given me a great model in my career and made me understand that there is nothing called “impossible”.

There are a lot of films that talk about human success stories, but this one is different for me and really, I highly recommend each teacher to watch it because it teaches us the importance of patience while dealing with different students, no matter what their difficulties are.

  6. I watched the movie twice, and the third time after reading the review. The movie is very expressive of reality and how a person with a disability must fight intensely. First, he has to accept his disability, and then make others accept it and adapt with it. The message that the film conveys about that there is no impossible, gave me positive energy.
