Stars on earth- Lama abu khdeir

Each of us has one thing or more that makes us special, but we have one common factor: we are all human. Were it not for our differences, we would be copies indistinguishable from each other.

(Taare Zameen Par) it is an Indian film that means stars on earth. The film's story about an autistic child who can't read or write because he has dyslexia, as a result, he sees the letter and numbers backwards. I've seen this film three times and I watch it whenever I have free time because I like the plot.

I like the part where the teacher understood Eshan's case because he has the same childhood and the same case, and he helped Eshan to learn and improve himself in life skills, in addition, this teacher believed in Eshan and he encourage his self-confidence to feel that the differences that he has without his peer is a perfect thing and should be proud of himself.

I don't like the part where the other teachers treat him in an unkind way. They didn't pay attention that he had learning difficulties and behavior problems that made him misbehave and do things he shouldn't do, alienating himself from his peer. The second thing  I don't like is his family. They didn't embrace him and accepted him, they felt that Eshan was a burden, and they sent him to a boarding school, It was as if they wanted to get rid of their worries. They didn't help or encourage him to solve the problems or to improve himself.

I advise the teachers and parents to watch this film, because we should understand how to deal with our students or children in general  and help them in a practical way not by using useless techniques that make the situation worse.
